Civil Rights

If you or a loved one have been shot, sexually assaulted, beaten, detained or searched unlawfully, or denied necessary medical treatment while lawfully detained by police or corrections officers, you may have a claim for a violation of your civil rights.

While valid civil rights claims are rare, when they do occur, the results are usually serious.  Accordingly, special Federal and State laws provide you with protections and the right to sue: towns; cities; counties; the State and the Federal government; and their employees to recover damages.

If Attorneys Hartman, Chartered takes your case, you will pay no fee unless you win your case.
